This is what a day might look like on our Yoga Life Retreat
Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, as the 4th wall on every room is the ocean, you will enjoy a gourmet breakfast with coffee or tea. Making your way to one of the two practice spaces where you can set up your mat and prepare for a guided mediation. From there we will begin a 90 min hot yoga class focusing on something new each day and challenging you physically as you find new depths in your body and breath.
You will work up a hunger for an incredible gourmet lunch buffet with farm to table food and fresh fruit juices. Then it’s time to explore and relax with the option to sun at the private beach, indulge at the retreat spa, or catch a wave in the surf! There is much time to plan your days and do as much or as little as you would like to find your balance throughout the week.
Throughout the days you may also choose to participate in an excursion or should you wish to have a unique one on one private yoga experience, you can book a private session with Joe. We will meet back at the retreat center in the afternoons for another practice before having dinner together.
Prepare yourself for some incredibly dynamic, fun, and strengthening classes in the morning. Vinyasa flow and power flow classes will bring a focus to your core and teach you how to take your physical practice to the next level! The evening classes will compliment the morning asana and focus on unwinding and opening your body and mind to a different degree pairing the yang practice with the yin practice establishing a great opportunity for clarity and calm as you wind down your days.
Joe can’t think of a better way to restore and relax your body and mind than morning meditations, twice daily yoga practices, amazing gourmet meals. Whether you have been practicing for years or are new to yoga, this retreat is a perfect opportunity to deepen your practice while enjoying an incredible experience in your life. Throughout the retreat he will support you in exploring yourself through your practice. He will be there fully to help you engage your inner strength and break down your perceptive boundaries. Guided to breath and body the practice has the power to heal, grow, and help evolve each of us into more whole and dynamic human beings.

I am very excited to share this time with you in Mexico at Xinalani Retreat. As I continue to explore life in LA with family and friends I am extremely grateful for all the connections that I have made along the way. In the recent past I have been exploring the art of listening in my practice. From my fellow yogis to the sounds of nature, we are all sharing this incredible space which I continue to honor and appreciate the practice of slowing down the breath and indulging in the stillness. I find that we can always increase our awareness and challenge our consciousness to reflect on life in a way that shines a positive light on all situations as a way to grow and learn through the relationship and honesty within our unique journey.
I am excited to share in this retreat and am sure that the group is going to explore and grow individually and collectively over these 8 days. I look forward to each of you meeting your breath, stillness, and focus as we journey together and share in this retreat experience.
