Xinalani team is committed to the sustainable development of the local community offering scholarships, training in hospitality careers and job opportunities. Xinalani was built using a variety of organic local materials. We promote an intelligent approach to the use of energy and water. We have successfully found efficient alternatives to air conditioning and we take great comfort in sharing our habitat with local fauna.

When it comes to vacationing, we believe that there is something other than flat screen TVs in air-conditioned rooms. We believe that enjoying an organic tamarindo margarita is not incompatible with seizing the perfect opportunity to start working on yourself and plant and grow the seeds of well-being.
LOW IMPACT LIVING
All guest accommodations have low consumption lights (LEDS) and are equipped with two outlets to reload cell phones and camera batteries. Our construction method was extremely organic. No concrete, no land modification. We never cut a single tree, and hardly pruned any branches.
We promote an intelligent use of resources. All guests are provided with high-end eco-friendly soaps and shampoo.Toilets are low-flow, and all water is recycled and used to irrigate our gardens. We use natural and biodegradable cleaning products, we recycle, and compost wherever possible in an attempt to minimize our environmental impact.

XINALANI FUND
The Xinalani Fund was created to increase education opportunities, preserve local environment and improve infrastructures and services in the neighboring town of Quimixto. Xinalani Retreat is dedicating a significant percentage of revenues to the Xinalani Fund. All additional donations are highly appreciated. Anyone can participate.
