About the Teachers
I am passionate about sharing the amazing benefits and transformational power of yoga; which in turn inspired me open Moksha Yoga Aurora! As a studio owner, I have been blessed to continually witness the daily transformations experienced by students practising yoga.
I completed my 500-hour Moksha/Modo Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training in Thailand in 2006. I have also completed a 200-hour Hatha Yoga certification, Moksha/Modo Flow Training, and Moksha/Modo Advanced Training. I believe that learning and growing is a never-ending continuum. I am grateful to have studied: Ashtanga with Diane Bruni, Maty Ezrati and Chuck Miller; Anusara Yoga Immersions with Shraddha, Naime Jezzeny, Desiree Rumbaugh, Martin and Jordan Kirk; Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater; Vinaysa Flow with Seane Corn; Restorative & Yin with Ante and Felicia Pavlovic.
I am inspired by my students and encourage them to connect with their inherent goodness, and limitless potential on and off their mat.
I have been practicing yoga for more than 10 years. The practice of yoga has changed my life, in many ways. It has lead me to see and recognise the place deep within that is connected; complete, love…
Each time that I teach, and practice, I come again, differently, to that place, and re-explore it.
In my teaching I work a lot with the chakras, with touch and with energy. I encourage fluidity, intuition and freedom in the postures, I believe that the best way to heal; to come home, is to be in our bodies, to really listen to how we feel. To sit with both shadow and light and just, be. Then we are free to land in our true home, our spirit.
I am grateful to have studied, Moksha/ Modo, with Ted Grand and Jessica Robertson; Vinyasa, with Seane Corn; Therapeutic and restorative yoga, with Susie Hately; Breath and Bandas, with Richard Freeman; Qui Gong, with Vince Bruni.
