2015 New Year Yoga Retreat Mexico
with Amy Reed & Lizzy Tyler
Treat yourself with the 2015 New Year Yoga Retreat Mexico. 7 luxurious days of rest and rejuvenation on the gorgeous Pacific Coast of Mexico! Just minutes outside of Puerto Vallarta, tucked into a stunning hillside overlooking the ocean and private beach, surrounded by lush jungle, Xinalani offers the ideal setting for a retreat steeped in the healing beauty of nature.
A day in the life of the New Year’s Retreat
Awake each morning to the sounds of jungle birds, the ever-present rhythm of the sea and the fresh morning air flowing freely through the open walls of your thatch-roofed casita (little sleeping cottage).
After a blissful open-air shower in your private, hand-sculpted bath, find your way along tidy jungle trails to the dining pavilion and enjoy a delicious breakfast as you take in breathtaking views of the jungle and ocean bellow… then it’s yoga time! Every day our all levels classes will interweave asana (yoga poses), breath-work, meditation & body mind centering.
Each afternoon, after a fresh, local lunch, enjoy ample free time for reading, massages at the spa, hikes in the jungle, swimming on the private beach, sun bathing, or napping. Follow all of this luxurious resting with: more resting in a gentle late afternoon practice of meditation, pranayama and restorative yoga.
Then enjoy a delicious fresh-squeezed juice elixir or a hand-crafted cocktail on the deck over looking the ocean while the orange glow of the setting sun saturates the jungle. Follow that with an exquisite, multi-course dinner of fresh local fish or nourishing vegan & vegetarian dishes and a healthy, delicious dessert, all in the company of good friends. Then wander back to your casita as the stars swirl over head and dive into a long, deep sleep in your lux, cozy bed.
Several afternoons during the week will be left open (no yoga class) for those who want to take more extended hikes, go whale watching, kayaking, or try surfing or stand up paddle boarding.
