Sun and Salutations Yoga Retreat
with Beth Stuart & Calvin Corzine
Join Beth and Clavin for a beautiful week of yoga, relaxation and love with their Sun and Salutations Yoga Retreat. These two teachers will blend together a mix that will leave you feeling inspired! Don’t miss this opportunity to unwind and open up!
Nestled between a white-sand beach and the mountains, on a 10-acre property only accessible by boat, resides the eco-chic retreat center called Xinalani. Despite being only 12 miles south of Puerto Vallarta (making for easy travel to and from), Xinalani feels like its own island. Xinalani® is a one-of-a-kind Retreat Center bringing together the best yoga facilities, beautiful eco-chic accommodation, delicious healthy food and supporting staff to make your dream retreat come true, all set on a wide pristine beach and a jungle of breathtaking natural beauty. Gourmet chefs, utilizing the abundance of local produce and seafood, prepare each meal. This retreat will leave you feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and ready for winter.
Each day will begin with a very heating Vinyasa practice (we all know Beth likes to move). You can spend your late morning and afternoon basking on the beach, surfing, swimming with dolphins, getting a massage, taking a hike or anything else your heart desires. We will take a group trip into town one day to shop and explore. Ultimately this is your retreat, vacation and yoga practice. It can be whatever you want it to be. We will wrap up the day with a second practice that will be more focused on relaxation. We will then gather for dinner, drinks and a lifetime of memories!
About the Teacher
Beth has been teaching Vinyasa flow yoga for over 4 years, after discovering the transformative power of the practice while attending college in New York City. She is known for her playful and creative sequencing, upbeat music, and contagious attitude. Beth sees yoga as a moving meditation and strives to help her students color outside the lines of their practice by inspiring them to be curious and open. Whether you take her vigorous Vinyasa flow class or her high-energy hip-hop yoga, you will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with a smile on your face. Beth has studied with some of the world’s leading yoga teachers, including Schuyler Grant, David Regelin, Tiffany Cruikshank, and Kathryn Budig—and she constantly seeks out new training in order to grow her own practice and teaching. Beth’s practice was born of her roots in Tae Kwon Do, theater, creative movement, and fitness. She teaches adult and children in group and private settings. Beth is based in Sun Valley, Idaho and is available for private sessions, group classes, special events, retreats, modeling, and travel. Off the mat, Beth practices the yoga of mothering with her greatest teacher of all, 3-year-old Jack.
After growing up around the yoga community and being very resistant to the idea of doing yoga, I caved shortly after graduating college and began to practice yoga regularly. Shortly after that, I began to study with my teacher, mentor and good friend Vinnie Marino at YogaWorks. My formal training began with a 200 hr teacher training at YogaWorks with Iyengar teacher Jenny Aurthur and Jesse Schein and continued on to complete my 300 hr teacher training at YogaWorks as well assisting in the Ashtanga room most of my days. As a student I enjoy practicing many different styles of yoga and have been fortunate enough to study with a variety of senior teachers including Lisa Walford, Maty Ezraty and even Sharath Jois in Mysore, India. My classes are a blend of all the styles I practice (Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Iyengar) and I am known for creative sequencing, upbeat music and overall being pretty challenging. I teach mainly out of YogaWorks in Santa Monica which I hold very dearly as this is where I began with my daily practice.
