About the Teacher
I began my yoga journey 11 years ago when I took my first yoga class. The cyclic and physical practice resonated with me, as I was then a dedicated football player and weight lifter, Over the years I have experienced my practice transform from a physical exercise into a lifelong journey of movement and meditation. Discovering softness in strength, I continued to grow in my yogic journey. Today I choose to love myself in a kinder and gentler manner. Combining the knowledge I gained from the YogaWorks 300 Hour Professional Program and my 20 year background in massage therapy, I feel as though I have truly found my voice. I am now a raw vegan, a stark departure from the “eat-anything-and-everything” diet of my 23 years as a weight trainer. I find my samtosha in family, meditation, asana and running. Each day I remind you to take your yoga off your mat and out into the day, to shine your your light and to spread your love. Until we meet again, Namaste.
