I was 25yrs old and pregnant with my first son when I started taking yoga classes.  I was timid, insecure and had very low self-esteem.  Now a single mom with 2 teenage boys, life is busy and there are days when I have to juggle, being the mom, the dad, the chauffeur, the confidence, the counselor, the maid and the chef all at the same time.  Through it all, I found FREEDOM, PEACE and LIFE BALANCE with my yoga and meditation.  I believe you have to take time to nourish  YOURSELF in order to be your BEST SELF for everyone else.  To be able to share the freedom, peace, and calmness through yoga to all my students, brings me the utmost joy and gratitude!!

Each day will balance both group activities with free time.  Nothing is mandatory and we will allow the week to unfold as we each experience the beauty of Xinalani.  Below is a sample daily schedule to give you a sense of what a day might look like.  It leaves you the option to spend time with friends or by yourself, to quietly sit on the beach in spare time, or to schedule adventures.  The meals and yoga will have a set time.  You will receive a more detailed schedule upon arrival.
