Nick and Leanne will offer you a full week of vinyasa yoga, pranayama, meditation, and reflection. We’ll also offer up some yin yoga, restorative yoga, and even aerial yoga! It’s all designed to open your heart and spirit to the vast abundance, connection, and love that is always around and within us. In the midst of the awe-inspiring beauty of Xinalani, this retreat will transport you to a world of possibilities. Twice daily yoga, lovely new friends, delicious and healthy food and plenty of time to relax and reflect or head out on daily adventures in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Leanne Amiot

Leanne’s yoga journey began years ago with the humble aspiration to stand up straight and tall.  As a lifelong athlete and bookworm, she discovered in yoga an amazing practice of integrating her body, mind, and breath.  This has led to a committed daily meditation practice that serves as an anchor to her life. Leanne’s dynamic teaching style combines creative sequencing with safe alignment, eclectic playlists, and a fun, nurturing approach.  Her greatest aspiration is to guide students to a deeper connection with their body, mind, breath and to the present moment.   By saying “yes” to the reality of our experience, whatever that may be, students leave her class feeling a sense of peace within themselves. Leanne initially studied under Aubree Saia and received her 500-hour certification with Amy Pearch-Hayden.  She teaches yoga at EarthView Yoga in Madison, WI which she co-founded with her partner Nick in 2016.

Nick originally discovered the benefits of yoga while training for his third marathon. As an avid and steady runner of over two decades, he was amazed at how it added and informed his awareness of running technique. It also greatly enhanced his day to day quality of life while traveling around the world as an airline pilot.  These qualities of calmness of mind and enhanced awareness were the inspiration to pursue teacher training from Rusty Wells and Baron Baptiste. He received his 200-hour RYT under Rusty Wells in San Francisco, CA in 2013.  In 2016, Nick co-founded EarthView Yoga in Madison, WI with his partner Leanne. With a strong yet sensitive voice, Nick leads yoga classes at EarthView Yoga in Madison. His classes are a journey of postures, breath, and music designed to inspire, strengthen, and ultimately calm the mind and body. You'll leave feeling invigorated with more space to breath, smile and head out to discover more of your own ideal world! Nick is excited to be offering EarthView Yoga's third annual yoga retreat at Xinalani.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS RETREAT

While a more detailed schedule will be sent closer to the retreat date, the yoga classes and meditations will be crafted to inspire and encourage self-discovery.

There will be an evening yoga class on the day of arrival, a morning yoga class on the day of departure, and morning and evening yoga classes on the other days.  We will also offer daily guided meditation and explore aerial yoga, yin, and Yoga Nidra.

There will be lots of free time to relax, get a massage, frolic in the warm ocean water, or take part in one of the many optional excursions.
