This retreat offers various yoga and mindfulness practices. Melt into the restorative and heart connecting practices of yoga nidra and yoga therapy. Be empowered by the playful practices of Kundalini Yoga and Booty Dance. Life coaching with journaling/art as well as nature activities will be woven in during the week to support you intending those fires of peace and joy in you and reconnecting you to You.

Plenty of free time is available every day to use as you desire for rest and relaxation. From snorkeling to hiking to swimming with dolphins to relaxing with a book or hanging out with other inspiring women. Rejuvenate as you choose.


When we drop into practices that soothe our nervous systems and bring us into our hearts, bodies, and playfulness, our inner voice of judgment relaxes. We start to see ourselves through the eyes of love again. This has a profound effect on ALL of you.


This week is all about connecting with You. Connect with your radiance in the embrace of nature, sisterhood and the care of the staff at Xinalani. Connect to a new level of your own creative expression. Access a deeper level of joy through these practices that bring you home to yourself and your heart. During the week we will enjoy a group healing session that includes acupuncture with yoga nidra to support your wellness and allows you to reset at a deep level. You will leave with recordings to take home to support your transformation.

Dr. Monika Herwig ND

Yoga Teacher

Helping women and their families simplify, connect, heal, find joy and shine with Mind-Body Medicine has been a focus of Dr. Monika’s naturopathic work and teaching since 2000. Her specialty is in optimizing mind-body wellness including adrenal/hormonal health, gut health, and mental health through the foundations of naturopathic medicine, mindfulness, acupuncture & yoga therapies and theta healing. She finds herself often supporting ambitious, creative mothers and women, in general, to care for their families and share their light and gifts with the world without burning themselves out. Reconnecting women with their intuition, creativity essence, beauty and joy are what Dr. Monika has found to be a key piece in addressing many physical and mental symptoms in her clients and on her own wellness journey. She is a mother, Advanced Level Yoga Nidra Facilitator, I AM Yoga Therapist, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Acupuncturist and loves writing poetry and playing guitar in nature. Dr. Monika will be joined with some guest teachers during the week to support certain practices including Tara Newbiggin, founder of Booty Dance.
