Shift Retreats Mexico

From November 30 to December 07 2019

Shift Retreats is a powerful 7-day personal development experience for inspiring change-makers to gain new perspectives and learn tools that will exponentially improve their ability to create a positive impact.

A cathartic experience and emotional detox, Shift Retreat offers a supported environment to grieve your losses and painful memories in order to heal old wounds and traumas. Group and individual sessions will holistically address your physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing. A safe container, skillfully held by qualified facilitators, will allow your mind and body to surrender to a deep transformation in order to process emotional blocks safely. Carefully crafted, food, music, silence, ritual, and nature form an essential part of the retreat experience and help to deepen inner and outer healing. Once our individual emotional blocks are processed, the work expands and we will focus on the bigger picture of global transformation and healing. Reenergizing our ability to catalyze systemic positive change within our communities, you will experience a profound reactivation of your center of power and sovereignty.

This week will provide you with the necessary motivation and tools you need to make an even greater positive impact on today’s most pressing civic, social and humanitarian challenges. You will return home with a deeper understanding of the values that drive you as a leader and a new understanding of what you are capable of achieving in this lifetime.

Michelle & Joel Levey

Dr. Joel & Michelle Levey, founders of Wisdom at Work, are regarded as early pioneers in the global “mindfulness revolution”, flow states/peak performance, and noetic/contemplative science movements over the past 50 years. They were among the first people in the world to introduce Mindful Leadership and Mind-Fitness based programs for realizing extra-ordinary levels of human potential into mainstream business, medical, higher educational, sports, and government arenas, beginning in the mid-1970s. Joel and Michelle have worked with thousands of leaders in hundreds of organizations around the globe including: NASA, Google, British Parliament, World Government Summit, Clinton Global Initiative, Boeing, Microsoft, U.S. Special Forces; Prime Minister’s Office of Dubai, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Intel, Hewlett Packard, MIT, World Bank, and World Business Academy. The Dalai Lama, an advisor on a number of the Leveys’ projects, praised their work saying: "You are presently engaged in work that has great prospects for bringing the Dharma (inner-transformational sciences) to people who may not under ordinary circumstances come into contact with these teachings. I am pleased about the work you are doing and send you blessings and prayers for your success.” They were honored by the Institute for Noetic Sciences as “leading transformational teachers of our times.” Their once-secret Jedi Warrior program for U.S. Special Forces was described by Pentagon leaders as “the most exquisite orchestration of human technology we have ever seen” and by Michael Murphy, founder of Esalen as “the most intensive leadership and human development program to be offered in modern times.” Their published works are available in 15 languages and include: Living in Balance: A Mindful Guide for Thriving in a Complex World; and Mindfulness, Meditation, and Mind Fitness.
