Xinalani is known for its healthy, gourmet meals. Pamper your senses and nourish yourself as you enjoy delicious meals while immersed in the sounds and smells and sights of this nature oceanside paradise. Be fed in all ways.

Play

This retreat offers various yoga and mindfulness practices. Melt into the restorative and heart connecting practices of yoga nidra and yoga therapy. Be empowered by the playful practices of Kundalini Yoga and Booty Dance. Life coaching with journaling/art as well as nature activities will be woven in during the week to support you in tending those fires of peace and joy in you and reconnecting you to You.

Plenty of free time is available every day to use as you desire for rest and relaxation. From snorkelling to hiking to swimming with dolphins to relaxing with a book or hanging out with other inspiring women. Rejuvenate as you choose.

Love

When we drop into practices that soothe our nervous systems and bring us into our hearts, bodies and playfulness, our inner voice of judgement relaxes. We start to see ourselves through the eyes of love again. This has a profound effect on the ALL of you.

Connect

This week is all about connecting with You. Connect with your radiance in the embrace of nature, sisterhood and the care of the staff at Xinalani. Connect to a new level of your own creative expression. Access a deeper level of joy through these practices that bring you home to yourself and your heart. During the week we will enjoy a group healing session that includes acupuncture with yoga nidra to support your wellness and allows you to reset at a deep level. You will leave with recordings to take home to support your transformation.

Dr. Monika Herwig ND

Yoga Teacher

Helping women and their families simplify, connect, heal, find joy and shine with Mind-Body Medicine has been a focus of Dr. Monika’s naturopathic work and teaching since 2000. Her specialty is in optimizing mind-body wellness including adrenal/hormonal health, gut health, and mental health through the foundations of naturopathic medicine, mindfulness, acupuncture & yoga therapies and theta healing. She finds herself often supporting ambitious, creative mothers and women, in general, to care for their families and share their light and gifts with the world without burning themselves out. Reconnecting women with their intuition, creativity essence, beauty and joy are what Dr. Monika has found to be a key piece in addressing many physical and mental symptoms in her clients and on her own wellness journey. She is a mother, Advanced Level Yoga Nidra Facilitator, I AM Yoga Therapist, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Acupuncturist and loves writing poetry and playing guitar in nature. Dr. Monika will be joined with some guest teachers during the week to support certain practices including Tara Newbiggin, founder of Booty Dance.

A DAY IN YOUR YOGA RETREAT

Wake up peacefully and take in the fresh ocean air and sunrise. Journal, hang out at the beach or just be. Start the day off with a centering mindfulness and yoga practice in one of the beautiful studios or down by the water.

Enjoy a gourmet breakfast

Gather for a group/solo activity around our theme for the day through art/journaling/nature connection.

Enjoy your delicious lunch meal listening to the ocean

Replenish in whatever way you choose. Surf, swim, hike, rest.

Come back together below supper to do a restorative Nidra class and teachings.

Hang out on the deck with like-hearted women and share the joy of being nourished and growing together,
