From March 17 to 24, 2018

On this retreat the focus is on choosing what YOU want. Every class, excursion, and day is encouraged to be exactly what you want it to be. The yoga classes will be 75-90 minutes with slow, long and grounded openings and closings to each class. No two classes are the same. There is no set sequence ever but instead creative sequencing, often breath to movement and strong, but with the intention of either full body opening or peak posture opening. The structure of the classes are much more like workshops than public classes. I’ll be theming on chakras, ayerveda, and energy bodies and also doing some journaling exercises and partner work (more supported stretching, not so much acro). There will be excursions offered including hikes, trips to nearby beaches and towns, and tequila tastings.

Casey Petersen

This will be Casey’s 7th retreat at Xinalani. She is Vinyasa and Yin certified since 2009 and has been teaching most recently in Seattle. Casey is an athlete and a traveler, recently combining the two as she completed the Pacific Crest Trail and the Pacific Coast Bike route. Her classes are fun, flowy, and deep.

A Day In Your Yoga Retreat

While a more detailed schedule will be sent closer to the retreat date, there will be an evening yoga class on the day of arrival, a morning yoga class on the day of departure, and morning and evening yoga classes on the other days. Lots of free time to relax, get a massage, frolic in the warm ocean water, or take part in one of the many optional excursions. *I will sit for meditation almost daily before morning yoga and anyone who wants to join is welcome.
